We received our order promptly and the worms were a good size. Unfortunately the box was left on our porch and we didn't know it was there until the next morning. The worms were dead. But the Calif. Process was Good, Worms Dead

The ordering process worked well and the worms were delivered when promised. Unfortunately, I had to leave town on the delivery date and the worms were stored by my neighbor in her refrigerator until I could return three days later. When I retrieved the worms from my neighbor, they were dead. Since it was outside the initial 24 hour period, I could not make a claim and I could not honestly say whether the problem was on the company's end or mine. Therefore, my review is based on the process rather than the product.

The worms were kindly sent to my local post office due to the heat. The worms were all alive and doing well - and still are. My turtle is happy and having a feast. Some of the worms started turning in to larva to become beetles quickly but that's OK - my turtle isn't picky about eating those either.

This was not my first order with Speedyworm, but I am always pleased by the care and detail they put into their shipments. I ordered 5,000 mealworms during the coldest temperatures so far this Winter in Michigan. I was so impressed with their shipment. Not only did they line the box in Styrofoam, they also included a large hand warmer to keep the worms alive. Nice touch!!
