Great bait. They might've sent more than what I paid for which is awesome. Some friends and I used about 1/3rd of the bait over 2 days and unfortunately on day 3 there was white foam coming from the container they were in and it turns out they all perished. As expected though, sadly, I used tap water which may have had some chlorine in it and I live in a warm climate so it was quite warm on certain days. Great while they lasted and lots of fish were eating these up.

The leeches were healthy but very small. I wanted large or even Jumbo leeched but all they had were med-Large. There were no large leeches and all of them were very small.

I ordered 1lb of medium/large leeches which had a lot of really good size leeches in there. . They was borderline dead on arrival due to long delivery. I would definitely recommend check the weather forecast before ordering. It says delivery should be express if temps are going to be over 75. I would say 70. Due to long shipping your rolling the dice at 75. I managed to save around 95% of the leeches due to fresh water and refrigerate them immediately. They are healthy for the most part and glad I ordered them. I’ve been a customer for years and there bait is second to none. 👍

I bought these leeches for an annual family, week long vacation in the U.P. Since we normally use about 15 dozen or more leeches every year, I was attempting to save some money by buying them in bulk before we went up. Leeches came lively and ready to catch fish. I was a little disappointed with the size. I am 61 years old and have been fishing with leeches for half a century. There were very few leeches in my order I would call legitimate "large" leeches. There were actually many more "small" leeches of a inch or less than there were "large" leeches. The majority we used for panfish, but had to buy "large" leeches locally(@ $4 a dozen)in order to fish for walleye and smallmouth.
