Spikes are Maggots. They are used for fishing bait typically in cooler water temperature like in the fall, winter and spring. They are used to catch, Perch, Trout, Bluegill, Crappie, Carp, Suckers, Cat Fish, Whitefish and land locked Salmon. Fish love maggots and so do reptiles.
When you receive them you MUST keep them refrigerated so they don't turn into flies. Refrigerate between 33 to 39 degrees and they will keep for weeks.

bait is delivered! If you have a problem, we need to be contacted within 24

the dead worms within 24 hours of delivery.

The bait was shipped quickly and packaged very well. So far I have only had to remove less than a handful of corpses. This order only had a small amount of bedding which is great as I remove them from the sawdust and add in a little corn meal in its' place. Thank you Speedy Worm!

Keep your Spikes from freezing or getting crushed. The crush
proof Bait Puck by Trophy Angler is a 3" insulated circle with an
easy twist lid. It has 3 air vents on the lid so your bait lives
longer and fits perfect in most pockets. The inside capacity is 1"
x 2.5". It can hold up to 250 Spikes. (Worms are not shipped in
the Bait Puck)
